The Mother’s Pledge

Children are starving. Mothers are crying. The world looks away. We will not.

It is time the power of a mother’s heart was awakened. You’ve heard of a mother’s love.

Now you will witness the power of that love — a force unstoppable, when we rise arm-in-arm and heart-to-heart.

Starving children is violence. Silence is violence. The power of mothers will prevail.

Love has no borders. Love has no bounds. Love is the greatest political act.

When one mother hears the cry, all mothers answer. Together, we declare: Not on our watch.
